A warm welcome at the door on a Sunday morning

Introducing Our Congregation

We welcome you!

Whatever your age, your race, your occupation, your hobbies, we invite you to join us as together we learn more about what it means to be God's people, needing and experiencing God's grace and forgiveness, in our world today.

We are...

...a small growing church.

Typically our attendance during the Sunday morning worship is approximately 130 persons. This is a significant growth from almost 20 years ago when the Sunday morning attendance hovered around 50. Total membership is presently 125 persons.

...a congregation of young and old, families and singles.

The children's Sunday School continues to grow as new families and children join our fellowship. The children of the young couples who have become part of our church family during the past few years are now entering the junior high youth group (Junior MYF) and will soon swell the size of the youth group (MYF).

The four adult Sunday School classes are indicative of the growth and maturity of the congregation. Usually there are two inter-generational classes and one that is primarily senior adults, but recently a young adult class has been added.

...a group with varying career paths.

Our congregation includes teachers, stay-at-home mothers, nurses, retired men and women, college students, farmers, office personnel, and more.

...a caring and supportive community.

Whether through our sharing time during our worship services, sharing and praying in our small groups, or getting to know each other while working or playing together, we want to listen to each other's joys and sorrow and needs and abundances.

Our facilities welcome you.

Our present church building was constructed in the early 1990's after a fire burned our previous structure. We have Sunday School classrooms, a fellowship hall, an auditorium for worship services, a pastor's study and church office, a nursery and a library. Both floors of our church building are handicap-accessible.
